What is Microblading?
Microblading is a form of cosmetic semi-permanent make-up performed using a manual, disposable handheld tool. It should only be done by a licensed, professionally trained, and certified permanent make-up artist. Microblading is done by etching individual hair strokes within the natural brow area. This can enhance a natural brow, or create a brow for someone who has minimal to no eyebrow hairs. The Microblading process begins with a thorough consultation to determine brow design, color, and address any concerns. 2 appointments are required, the initial appointment, and a 6 to 8-week touch-up/perfecting appointment. Microblading adds confidence and increases self-esteem. results last on average, 18 months to 3 years depending on skin type and lifestyle.

HOW MANY TREATMENTS WILL I NEED?
In most cases, an initial treatment, followed by a follow-up retouch treatment. In rare cases, you may need 1 or 2 more treatments.
WHAT CAN I EXPECT AT MY APPOINTMENT?
You will be given a consent form to sign. A microblading expert will shape your existing brows, outline your new shape, and apply an anesthetic cream to minimize discomfort. A color consultation will then take place. The procedure will start when the numbing cream has taken effect. When the procedure is complete, an ointment is applied to assist the healing process. The procedure takes a little over an hour from start to finish.
WILL IT LOOK NATURAL?
Yes. Microblading looks like natural hair, becoming a little softer and more muted as they fade. The 3D effect adds realism to the end result. The color will appear darker for the first 7-14 days after treatment.
IS IT THE SAME AS AN EYEBROW TATTOO?
No. The work involved is only performed on the surface layer of the skin, thus giving it a safe, semi-permanent effect.
IS IT SAFE?
Absolutely. Sterilized disposable supplies are used during the process.
